Know exactly what counts.

How a Sheetella subscription licenses people, how pulls and accounts are measured, and what happens near a limit. Licensing is not enforced during the private beta; this is the planned model.

This document is a pre-launch draft for review. Highlighted values in [brackets] are placeholders that will be confirmed before Sheetella opens to the public. It is not yet legal advice or a final offer.

Usage simulator · Studio plan (draft)

1,600 / 2,500 pulls

Normal. Everything runs. No action needed.

Licence grant

While your subscription is active, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use Sheetella in Google Sheets for your internal business reporting, within your plan's limits and our Terms of service. The licence covers the add-on; your ad data and spreadsheets remain yours.

Users and seats

  • A user is one Google account that installs Sheetella and runs reports under your subscription.
  • Each user authorises their own Google Ads and Meta access; connections and saved reports are never shared between users.
  • Workspace administrators can deploy Sheetella with Admin install; seats are still counted per active user.

How usage is measured

UnitCounted whenNot counted
Data pullA report run finishes and writes rows (or headers for an empty result) to a sheet.Failed runs, runs stopped by a time budget, catalogue/field loading.
Connected ad accountA distinct Google Ads customer ID or Meta ad account runs at least one report in the period.Accounts that are only listed in the account picker.
Scheduled reportA saved report has an active once, daily, weekly or monthly schedule.Paused schedules and manual-only reports.

Usage resets at the start of each billing period. Unused pulls do not roll over. Counters are shown in the sidebar once licensing launches.

Reaching a limit

  1. At 80% of pulls you see a notice in the sidebar and receive an email.
  2. At 100%, scheduled runs pause; manual Run now continues within a 10% buffer.
  3. At 110%, new pulls pause until the next period, an upgrade or a pull pack.
  4. Account limits apply when a new account would exceed your plan; existing accounts keep working.

Pausing never deletes or changes data already written to your sheets.

Fair use

Limits exist to keep scheduled reporting reliable for everyone within Google Apps Script and advertising-platform quotas. Please don't share a single user between people, automate excessive reruns, or use Sheetella to resell raw advertising data. Very large reports may need a narrower date range or report level.

Private beta

During the private beta, Sheetella is free for invited pilot users, licence checks are not active, and limits are not enforced. We will give pilot users notice before paid plans begin.
